Good Afternoon!

As well as sharing news from the Safer Together Team we are also using Lincolnshire Alert to share information about and from key partners.

Today I wanted to share with you information about CrimeStoppers and an exciting opportunity from them to become chairperson or a member on their Lincolnshire Committee!

Crimestoppers are an independent charity that enables the public to give information about crimes and criminals anonymously. To report a crime call 0800 555 111 or log on to crimestoppers-uk/org . They won't ask your name, will listen to what you know and pass on your information anonymously.

Critical to their continued success is the work of the regional committees across the UK and the Volunteers who make up those committees.

Crimestoppers are looking for individual with a suitable range of skills, aptitude and attitude to take on volunteering roles for their Lincolnshire committee.

They are looking for people who are able to effectively communication both locally and centrally, providing positive engagement with the Police and Community Safety Partnerships.

If you are interesting in joining the committee and are able to give free time to attend events, fundraise, facilitate and carry out campaigns and promote Crimestoppers please contact

It is expected that you will give at least a 1 year commitment to the Committee in order to deliver effective results and offer sufficient time each month to assist with the planning of the activities of the Crimestoppers Committee; including attendance at meetings, local involvement and some organisational duties.
